Autumn is here!

The last few months have been really busy! We moved house at the end of the summer school holidays and I've also been creating new work when not unpacking boxes!! I've really been enjoying combining my hand painted work with digital, using Procreate on my iPad Pro. I resisted drawing on a screen for so long because I thought it was a 'cop out' but I love it now because it eliminates so many extra time consuming steps in the creating process and I can take my iPad anywhere! I still love and understand many traditional processes and when I'm working digitally I simply pretend I'm working traditionally, for example, I'll pretend I'm cutting paper for collage or pretend I'm using a hand made stamp... you see, it's all about the process :)
