February MATS Bootcamp

This month's Bootcamp assignment is all about scenic plates ie landscape scenes on plates. It's been fun researching all the options ranging from Delftware to Mexican pottery. I think I may also be able to use my archive of photos from Antique Fair visits for inspiration.

However, my inspiration is currently emanating from a plate I painted in 2007. I actually painted it for a child's birthday gift but loved it so much I couldn't part with it! (The child was given an alternative gift instead!)

We'll see where I ended up at the end of the month but meanwhile I'll be enjoying the process :-)
