On Friday I visited the London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy. This boutique Fair is an annual four day event in April offering the opportunity to view works from all periods of printmaking, from Dürer's early woodcuts to contemporary prints.
I am so happy to have seen prints by Picasso (including a framed lino plate), Warhol, Briget Riley, Damien Hirst, Peter Blake, Gillian Ayres and Craigie Aitchison... there are too many to mention here!
My favourite was Gumball Machine by Wayne Thiebaud... I have just the spot for it in my house... if only I could afford it!
