Full Circle

I discovered some of my old student work the other day... from about 25 years ago!! It made me realise that I used to draw in a very detailed and controlled way. This all changed when I studied Graphic Design and I was encouraged to 'loosen up'!

In my first job as a Graphic Designer artwork was created the 'old fashioned way' as 'paste up'. As Mac's were introduced in the late 1980's I learnt Graphics software pacakges 'on the job'. I quickly became used to all things digital and there wasn't much time or opportunity for traditional methods anymore.

I feel that I've come full circle and, having redisovered my earlier love of drawing, I'm loving combining hand drawn and digital methods to create unique pieces of art.
